"Romantic Geometry" is a new installation sculpture,
custom created by Xan Palay, for the RawSpace at the ARC Gallery. A geometric diagram,
embedded in a paper and fabric crust, lines the floor of the entire exhibition space.
Small, hanging light bulbs illuminate the floor and guide the viewer through the
installation. Periodic audio statements transform the geometry from an expression of
scientific rigidity into an experience of exploring affection and conflict by way of
spatial relationships.
