RAWSPACE: Millennium Fusion Project

As a background to this, during my 3 year tenure as Curator of RawSpace at ARC Gallery 1996-1999, I wanted a great event...and originated the idea for this special event/project and hoped some special group would come forward to fulfill the expectation. My expectations were exceeded by this show! Go see the rest on the links...(this is the hype...low-key..to make you interested...) it was a truely "awesome" event. Proposals were invited from Chicago area artists (2 or more who will make a collaborative work in any media) for a site-specific installation which ended in a result that expanded and engages the viewer in a dialogue transitioning from 99-00.

The 2 month show in RawSpace, ARC Gallery, Chicago, ran from December 99 through January 00.
